Two years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting Dan "Frogger" Reilly through the Killington Ambassador program. He has impressed me in so many ways, especially in that he has overcome so many medical hardships with such awe-inspiring spirit.

As some of you may know, Dan has a medical condition called Papillomatosis .

Recently, Dan met with a NASA medical specialist consultant  who recommended the use of a hyperbolic chamber to potentially help  slow the growths that are caused by his disease. It could also be helpful in treating other threatening medical conditions.

This device could be installed in his home and help him significantly, but it is NOT covered by medical insurance. 

We have set up this fund in the hope that we can help raise $15,000 to get Dan access to this equipment. 

About Dan: 

Dan is a huge part of the Killington family! Before being an Ambassador, he worked in many capacities at the resort over the past seven years - including ski school, lift operations, reservations and mountain biking. 

Dan’s first surgery was at the age of three. At age five, he developed diabetes and hypothyroidism, and by eight he had a tracheotomy.

Throughout his life, Dan  has had many experimental procedures, and now at age 36 he has had a record number of 173 surgeries.

At this point, the growths are rapidly recurring and he is having surgery about every three weeks. In the past year, he has "coded" four times -- as you can imagine, this is tough on the body.

His survival, as well as his outlook, is amazing! Anyone who has had the pleasure to meet Dan, knows the inspiring effects of his positive attitude.

We are looking to help Dan raise funds to get a hyperbollic chamber by April 30th.
