I have been praying on this a lot & trying to figure out how I could help the Campanaro’s. This seemed like the option that kept weighing on my heart the most! As most of you know Noah’s buddy Ryan has been battling leukemia (ALL) since 2nd grade, I think age 7, he has battled so much as a kid, more than any kid should ever have to face! Ryan is now 15 and just completed 8th grade. In this timeframe he has beaten cancer 2x and is now fighting to beat it for a 3rd time! There is so much unknown that goes into children’s cancer let alone cancer after multiple remissions. Everything is considered experimental and everything is costly and not always covered by insurance. This family already has many years of medical bills but now Kelly drives from Jacksonville to Arnold Palmer children’s hospital in Orlando, roughly 2hrs, for Dr’s appointments and anytime Ryan gets a fever he has to go to the ER. Soon they will be going to Tampa once he starts his newest treatment. I know this family is under a tremendous amount of stress and I would love to be able to lighten the load a bit.
For those of you that don’t know this Family- They are the most inspiring family I know. Ryan is such a kind hearted young man! My family had the pleasure of spending lots of time and many weekends with him when they lived in Melbourne. We also visited him in the hospital numerous times and Ryan always had a smile on his face and never complained about any of it! He is incredibly strong and even tho we all have wondered “why” he just keeps pushing through and being everyone’s rock! Kelly and Chris have 3 children- Ryan, Hannah & Carter. Hannah and Carter play on traveling soccer teams and almost every weekend have soccer tournaments. Kelly and Chris are always there cheering them on. Even tho they have been dealing with Cancer for roughly 8 years they have given there kids the most normal life possible & make every one of their children feel special! That’s not always easy for any family but I swear Kelly has some hidden superpower she is not telling us about! They are an extremely selfless family that has spent years shaving their heads To raise money for St Baldrick’s for children’s cancer research. They didn’t only attend these things, Kelly worked very hard at organizing this fundraiser for the last few years when they moved from Melbourne to Jacksonville due to a job transfer. I truly could go on and on about this family but basically they are an incredible family that EVERYONE that meets them LOVES them!!
If you are able to donate, thank you! If you arenot, please take a moment and Lift Ryan and his family up in prayer! Thank you
