Foodraiser #17 - Relief for Haiti via CARE

Foodraiser #17 - Until 18th September 2021

Last month Haiti was struck by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake, killing around 1,400 people, leaving 6,000 injured and countless but yet thousands in need of aid.

By participating in this month’s Foodraiser, the proceeds of your donation will go to CARE (Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere). They’re experts in providing food, shelter, hygiene kits, and sexual and reproductive health assistance in emergency situations.

Every 25€ donated to CARE can provide food for a person for one month.

What is Foodraiser?

 
Every month, with the help of amazing friends, I cook to gather funds to send to charities around the world to support them and raise awareness to the field work they've been doing.

Through all the last fundraisers we were able raise and donate €4335 to these initiatives. This amount is the equivalent of around 296 grocery kits.


It's been already 16 editions and 15 different organisations helped - from Amazon to Pantanal, São Paulo, Ciudad Juaréz, Beirut, Sanaa, Athens, Kuala Lumpur, Luanda, Duinkerke, Rotterdam, Gaza and Madrid. We're already in the 15th edition and looking to continue helping charities around the world in their amazing work of getting food in the table for those in need.

Financial transparency / costs:
Ingredients, packaging and production costs: 25-35% of donations receiving reward
GoFundMe platform: 2,9% + €0,30 of each donation.
After each edition, a receipt of donation is published in our Instagram.
