Ramsbottom Pantry - Food Donations

Hi Everyone. 
So in light of the government decision to discontinue the provision of free school meal vouchers over the school holidays during the pandemic, I feel there is only one thing to do....

Going forward from today, i am going to be collecting food donations to make up weekly food packs. These will be distributed to families who are eligible for free school meals to ensure their children's tummies are full over school holidays. I will be liasing with local schools and giving them the food packs to distribute to their families who receive free school meals or those families most in need.
I will be collecting/buying/storing/putting together the food packs.
I have plenty of storage room and a chest freezer for frozen food.
If you have ANYTHING that you're able to donate, please let me know. You can drop off, I can collect or you can even send me donations if you're busy/not local and I'll do the shopping on your behalf and provide you with receipts.
I cannot sleep knowing that there are hungry children out there

I appreciate this is an emotive issue and will attract so political discussion but please be polite and appreciate i am just trying to help.
