FOOD 4 YOU was actually started just before the Pandemic, my granddaughter Tatiyana is 14 and has a very warm loving heart, she is always wanting to give to and do for the homeless. Tatiyana, would go with me when I would do Instacart and we began to see just how big the homeless population was here in Pensacola. She wanted to help do something about it. She knew the few dollars she gave were good, only she wanted to do more, so we came up with the idea and planned on making dinners for Thanksgiving and passing them out. l thought we should give this a trial run first so we both thought a meal is always a good idea and even if you don't have 3 meals a day 1 good one will help, we chose to start on a Saturday, that way we could cook and prepare the night before. The first time we made 10 meals, the next Saturday 20 , every Saturday thereafter the number has grown. I work full-time I love helping my granddaughter and the community at the same time. This past Saturday her two brother went along to help that was AWESOME!!  We have future plans for meals every Saturday, Thanksgiving as well as Christmas. I thought it would be a good idea to raise funds for this as well as searching out various avenues for donations from businesses  that at the end of the day might throw out perfectly good items we can use. This once small gesture has turned into a heartfelt mission that I will continue to help her with and I hope this will be a cause that warms your heart and soul.
