Help our Family

My name is Ashley and I am trying to help start a fundraiser for my family, our two sons, Ant (fourteen years old) and Ryan (four years old). Please personally contact me for more details.
Unfortunately, we had no option and now forced to move out of our apartment building by the end of January or we will get evicted. Sadly, this action is taking place because of our son’s behaviors and actions recently and in the past.
We have lived in our apartment building for over the past five years and made our apartment our home, with our four dogs, and kids.
Our older son, Anthony, has high functioning autism, behavioral issues, and many health issues. He has often hospitalized for these issues and needs much care every single day.
Ant has been getting support and therapy since he was three years old. He was in special-needs preschool, always had an IEP in school, and now currently attends Rugby, special behavioral school which he gets much support there. Our town we live in, Lakewood pays for Anthony to go to school there.
At home, he has intensive behavioral therapy three times a week, attends group therapy weekly, is part of our church youth group, and is on the school basketball team.
Monday, we got an urgent phone call from our apartment building stating that we were getting evicted due to Anthony’s behavior towards many tenants in the building and that there was property damage that was caused by Anthony Monday morning.
this is not the first time he caused significant damage to the building itself. Along time ago he was supposed to be at a neighbors house, his friend. Anthony and his friends no damage property that the police, fire department, an apartment building was a part of. Instead of a vetting us we agree that Anthony would do community service instead, which he did.
Anthony was waiting on his bus stop Monday, the bus never came because due to a flat tire. Anthony acted out inappropriately thinking he was going to miss school and his first day of basketball practice. (Anthony just made the basketball team and was allowed on the team because his behavior at home and recently in school.)
Because of the past property damages he has caused to the building and our neighbors complaints about Anthony, his actions, tantrums etc. Our apartment needs us to move out.
We could pursue taking our landlord to court. However, with discussing this with our attorney, a few advocates and the Ocean County Courthouse the only thing we can possibly get is more time to move. Even though Anthony is a minor and has disabilities there’s too much damage and too many complaints with almost everyone in our apartment building about Anthony. I had numerous conversations with our landlord and we agreed on a solution for us to break the lease and not get evicted. Having an eviction on our background will enable us to move in the future.
Nick and I always pay our bills and rent on time. We even try to ask if we can just pay for any damages and for us to continue living here and the answer was flat out no. It’s not so much financially it is the complaints from our neighbors for the past five years.
We can afford our regular bills. Our landlord was kindly enough to waive the fee for breaking our lease which was a few thousand dollars.
We need help with getting the money to pay for the damages Anthony has cost which is over $2000 and to help us get a new home with a security deposit roughly around $3200, Plus any additional fees. We are not getting our security deposit back and will probably have to pay much more because all the damage is Anthony did, the normal wears and tears to our apartment, and the things we have to replace and repaint.
We are estimating maybe $6000.
We cannot get loans and even tried getting a loan from the bank we were denied.
My immediate family just help me with a down payment for a car. I spent a few thousand dollars repairing my old car and now the engine needs to be replaced. I already took it to tire world in Freehold, auto certified mall in Howell, and the Nissan in freehold over the past two months. Instead of spending more money into an older car my family help me with a down payment to get a newer car. Unfortunately, I just got that new car and that car already has issues which Carvana is handling and paying for. Currently I do not have a car. If my new car cannot be fixed Carvana will send me another car within the next few days to weeks.
We are now selling our high-end belongings, we just sold one of our dogs unfortunately just to make extra money. Now, both of us are planning to work seven days a week. However, that still won’t make ends meet for this big bill.
I work full-time at a preschool for the last 13 years. My younger son Ryan attends the preschool and he loves. I also work part time babysitting, three days a week with this one lovely family. Nick works full-time as a massage therapist for the past eight years and is a dog trainer part time.
We are asking our friends and family, neighbors, everyone for help! We cannot do this alone and we need your help. We are embarrassed to ask for help but we are hard workers, really great parents, and will do whatever we can for our children and family!
We are also asking if anyone has time at the end of December, January to help us repaint our apartment with us and repair small damages if anyone is handy please let us know.
