Hi friends,

2023 was a hard one for so many folks, and we caught some of that rough luck ourselves.

The health struggle you see me mention from time to time is long covid. Short version of what that means for me is that i have chronic pain & fatigue which can get so bad some days that I can't get up... plus migraines & brainfog on top.

Meanwhile Adam was laid off in January of last year and spent 12 months working odd jobs while staying on the hunt for a not so odd job. He was finally hired this week a great local company, hooray!

Unfortunately a year of unemployment with ten animals in our care has left us dangerously behind.

Rent is late, bills are late, but these animals always get taken care of better than we take care of ourselves!

The little square hay bales we get used to be about 8 bucks each... Now they are SEVENTEEN. The wonderfluppets go through at least 6 of those a week (more when it's very cold) plus feed and bedding.

(Not to mention the 5 rescue cats inside, 3 of whom are special needs).

So here I am humbly requesting a little help from our internet friends.

Anything you could chip in to sponsor a bale of hay will be greatly greatly appreciated.

And we will keep bringing the silliness.
