As you know by now the Covid19 shutdowns have sent shockwaves through the bar and restaurant community and its effect was immediate and life altering. On March 15, Floyd was forced to lay off its entire staff with these mandated closures. It’s one thing not to be able to simply grab a pint with a friend, but it’s entirely different when your livelihood depends on it.
We are humbly requesting, if you have a few bucks to spare (because you can’t spend it on toilet paper anyway), you help support our wonderful staff.
Many of you, I’m sure, have a story to tell about a visit to Floyd. Maybe it was a rousing game of bocce. Maybe you met the love of your life. Or maybe you sat and unleashed your deepest thoughts to a willing ear behind the bar. You might not think of it at the moment, but it’s the staff who help create this unique experience.
We know that everyone is affected by these terrible circumstances but we are hoping that you might be in a position to help. 100% of funds raised will go directly to the bartenders, barbacks and porters who help bring Floyd to life every day.
