Hey everyone, last night 4/9/24 a storm hit and flooded my grandmothers home. For years she has ran an in-home daycare and has cared for hundreds of children. Due to the flooding she is temporarily losing her home and has to close the daycare down for a month, or possibly longer in order to replace the floors, walls, and the furniture has to be sent off for decontamination due to the water containing sewage, dirt, and debris, she will only get back what can be saved. Her daycare is her pride and joy, and also only source of income. She is having to stay in a hotel for this process which is also very costly. The costs will go to fixing her home, hotel costs, food, and help bring some money in while she is out of work for this period of time. If you know her, you know she is an amazing and kind person, she would give the shirt off her back to anyone. She is truly the glue and heart of our family, if I had the means to truly help her in this entire process I would. All I am asking is if you can, donate.
