Flood Fund for Linda

My name is Susan Thierry and I live in Sayreville New Jersey. I am asking for your help on behalf of my dear friend Linda von Gruchalla Montalbano. We have been friends since grammar school and graduated from Sayreville War Memorial High School in 1971.
Linda has always been a very generous and giving soul. Now it's Linda who needs help.
Her home in Lafayette, Louisianna was virtually destroyed in the flood and she has lost most of everything she owns. Linda didn't have flood insurance because her area had never flooded before and even if she had it, the extensive damage would not have been covered. In addition to this recent tragedy Linda lost her beloved husband, Richard a year ago so her sense of loss is additionally magnified by this. 
Her church family is helping with the clean up but she will need money to rebuild as that expense will all be out of pocket. 
I have asked her permission to set this page up on her behalf and she was quite relieved and grateful that I would. Although, the always humble Linda added "There are a lot of people worse off than me".  Linda is staying at her sons second floor apartment nearby while going to her home to clean up things every day.
