Flights for Fighters 2021

Alex Pagliaro and Jack Capetola will be participating in Austin Urban and Conor O'Neill's fundraiser, Flights for Fighters, which was created in 2019 to raise money for Tunnel to Towers Steven Siller Foundation and their respective fire departments.

The event consists of climbing 110 flights of stairs on a gym stair master machine and full "turn out" gear. These flights of stairs represent how high the Twin Towers stood and the climb many firefighters and first responders made before losing their lives on 9/11/2001.

This year over 12 people have jumped on board to participate in the third annual Flights for Fighters event. The funds raised will be split between Tunnel to Towers (https://t2t.org/) and each participant's respective fire departments, in this case, Point Lookout FD and White Plains FD. Fire stations, especially volunteer ones, are regularly under funded but require some of the most daring and dangerous work, our funds will go towards things like training, gear and other necessities. We are seeking a total of $10,000 and look forward to getting your donation to help us achieve that goal.
