I am raising money for Rays of Sunshine Ward at Kings College, London, who supported my family and I during my daughter Freya's recent complex liver surgery in June 2025. Freya has been under the care of Kings College Hospital for many years, their specialist children’s liver department is world leading and one of the jewels in the crown of the hospital. Each year they provide lifesaving care to hundreds of children and the charity support them to carry out ground-breaking research to improve their lives and advance treatment.

King’s patients are at the heart of everything they do. They make the best care for patients possible by raising money for cutting edge equipment and facilities, supporting their staff, innovative research and pioneering treatment.

They support projects that push boundaries and transform clinical services so that we can deliver a better experience and more positive outcomes for their patients and their friends and family, as well as funding projects that improve the working environment for staff.
