Help Fix a Home for Zaire Brown!

Donation protected

Zaire Brown is the Orphan Child of Ka'Sandra Wade, who was murdered by his father in a Murder-Suicide on
New Year's Eve, 2012, when Zaire was 9 1/2 years old.

Since then, he has been living with his grandmother, who has COPD and mobility issues, on a fixed income of about $1400.00 per month.

They were made homeless recently, after his grandmother's struggle with pneumonia left them without enough money to keep up.

But the community is coming together to do something about it! We have identified an abandoned house, and we have cleaned it up and are fixing it up for Zaire and his grandmother to live in!  We have applied to the county vacant property program for ownership of the house, and soon, they will never have to worry about losing their home again!

Volunteers are doing all the work on the home. To volunteer, send us a message with your number and we will call you.

This gofundme is to raise the money for the materials to fix the house. We need drywall, screws, drywall mud, paint, an electric water heater and an electric stove and the 220 lines to go with them. We need baseboard heaters, glass to repair a few windows, and the plastic pex plumbing to replace the stolen copper pipes.

We really need your contributions to provide this home for Zaire and his grandmother. This home will stabilize their lives and help Zaire to prepare for his future.

After all he has been through, he still manages to make good grades and he is a young musician as well. You can make a difference in this young man's life.
