Spende geschützt
Let’s Make History Together!
Help me be the first BIPOC Woman over the age of 30 years old to compete for Miss Vermont USA, the Official Preliminary Competition for Miss USA.
Hello,
My name is Stephanie, and I am looking for your help to make my ultimate dream come true! I was born and raised in Vermont, and have a passion for giving back to my Community. I have dedicated my life and professional career to working with disadvantaged populations in the Mental Health Field, and also have a passion for working with children and families. I have a Master’s of Social Work Degree, and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the State of Vermont.
Now is a pivotal time in Vermont where Systemic Racism, Diversity, and promoting Justice, Equity, and Inclusion of BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of Color) and other historically oppressed populations in our community, and in the workplace is vital! This is the basis of the mission of my platform of which I hope to promote through the unique and powerful opportunities of Pageantry, and in hopefully becoming the next Miss Vermont USA.
Earlier this year I competed in my first Pageant with another Pageant System and it was an amazing, warm, and welcoming experience. The Journey helped me to reflect on my values and self-confidence, as well as focus on things like building my self-esteem back up after facing discrimination in recent years, as well as practicing self-love and self-care in a way that I have not done before.
I am asking for your support to help me be not only a role model, but a Voice for BIPOC, Neurodivergent, and historically oppressed populations in Vermont, while also empowering youth.
My Goal is to raise $3,500 USD. These funds will help me have the best preparation, and access to resources to make me the best candidate that I can be for Miss Vermont USA, and to hopefully advance to the National Pageant in August 2024 to compete for Miss USA in Hollywood, CA. Funds would also cover the cost of Competition Entry Fees, Professional Photography, Wardrobe (opening number attire, swimwear, evening gown, professional interview outfit and shoes, etc), Professional Hair & Makeup, Travel, Lodging Accommodations, Professional Coaching Sessions, and any incidentals that may pop-up along the way!
This is the opportunity of a lifetime!
I would be SO Honored if chosen to be Miss Vermont USA 2024.Think of it as a long job interview, every step and quality in my work and impressions along the way counts towards showing my commitment, dedication, and ability to serve my Community in such an important Role!
Unfortunately I cannot financially afford to cover these costs on my own,
What makes this year so special is that this is the first year that the age restriction has been lifted to compete in the Miss USA Pageant System! Help me be the first BIPOC Woman over the age of 30 years old to compete for Miss Vermont USA, the Official Preliminary Competition for Miss USA.
Once I have enough funding to cover the entree fees, I will also be able to help promote businesses through advertisement opportunities through sponsorship of AD Pages in the Official Miss Vermont/ Miss New Hampshire USA Program Book, as well as on Social Media. Up dates to follow as I get closer towards my fundraising goal!
Thank you again for your encouragement and support! Please spread the word as every little bit counts!
With Much Gratitude,
Stephanie
