Fired for Medical Needs: Adrian's Story

Hi, I’m Adrian Curtis. I’m 20 years old and I was born with a life-threatening disease called Cystic Fibrosis. I am trying to raise funds so I can cover my bills next month, including car payment, phone bill, groceries, gas, and rent! The only reason I don’t have income of my own is because I’m currently waiting on my disability to get approved. I just got fired in October for using the bathroom too much because of my medication I’m required to take to stay alive! I also got fired from the most recent job before that for the same reason. I’ve been battling pneumonia for months and can’t seem to shake it as well, so I’ve been in and out of the hospital since May of last year! But I’m out of options and have no other idea on how I can make income until I get approved. I seriously don’t know how anyone can wait so long without income with bills. I’ve been working a full-time job since I was 16, and all the places I worked knew I had cystic fibrosis and that I had to use the restroom more frequently than normal people, but they still fired me.
