The Tubbs Fire caught my whole family by surprise at 2am in the Coffee Park area in Santa Rosa CA on October 9th. My grandparents Mary and Lonny Coursen, my uncle Shaun Garrison, my uncle Travis Garrison and his Girlfriend Meagan, and my parents Mark and Heather Bowers, and myself Whitney Bowers; all safely evacuated from our homes that morning. There was no warning of the fire for anyone living in this area, allowing everyone to evacuate with very little or only the clothes they had on.
What was left behind by the Tubbs Fire was complete destrustion. We all lived less than a mile from each other in the Coffee Park area. This neighborhood we all called home for the past 30 years is now completely destroyed and almost every house has been leveled to the ground.
In total my family has lost 5 homes.My grandparents Mary and Lonny, my uncle Travis, and my uncle Shaun have lost all 3 of their homes and are left with absolutely nothing. My parents, Mark and Heather, where lucky enough to have their home still standing on a street full of completely destroyed homes. But their home is standing in a mandatory evacuation zone without power or gas, making it unable to reach and unable to live in.
We are all asking for help from anyone who can. The money raised will be used by everyone mentioned above. This will help with the current search for short term living locations as well as finding long term living locations. It will help with getting the essentials we are currently without and help bring the burden that is weighing heavy over all our heads to be lessened.
We are all extremely thankful for anyone that can provide some support for our family.

My name is Whitney Bowers and I am from Santa Rosa CA. I am making this go fund me page for my close family members that have lost everything from the Tubbs Fire. All funds raised will be spent to help find living locations for these family members along with helping buy the essential items they need like food, clothing.The way my family members will be receiving the funds will be through myself since I am always available and there are multiple different people involved who will be receiving the money. We are all living very close together which makes this opinion the easiest for everyone involved who would will be benefiting from these donations.
