We are raising money to benefit Trappe Fire Company and the public, which is a local volunteer fire department.
The goal of any fire department is to protect the public. In order to do this, they must have sufficient equipment and vehicles. Trappe Fire Company's current fire police vehicle's functionality is quickly decreasing after over 30 years of use. The van is becoming unreliable, as it is struggling to start, and experiencing severe engine problems and leakage. To continue to successfully protect the public, we are in need of a new fire police vehicle. This vehicle is used to block roads when incidents occur, which helps direct traffic, as well as keep both first responders and civilians safe. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and will impact not only the fire company, but the people of the greater Trappe area.
