Dear Family & Friends,
As most of you know, God has heavily placed a burden on my heart for overseas missions, and He has given me an incredible opportunity for continued growth and preparation for the missions field.
After a year of prayerfully waiting and seeking what God had on His heart for me, He led me to a 6 month DTS (Discipleship Training School) starting September 27th.
The DTS is split into two phases - A 3 month training school in Kona, Hawaii, with Fire and Fragrance and Youth With A Mission (YWAM), plus a 3-month outreach phase in varying countries across the globe.
This training brings together young people from across the globe that have a passion for intimacy with Jesus and have a desire to be sent out as fiery eyed revivalists into the nations and seeing the lost, encounter His love. (https://www.fireandfragrance.com/schools ).
During the 3-month school phase outside of classroom learning, I will be serving the campus in practical work duties, community outreach, and extended times of prayer and worship. In my “trades” track I will be trained in basic structural trades. Some of the skills I will be learning include: welding, iron working, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and masonry that I plan on using in the missions field to help others.
During the 3-month outreach phase our DTS will be split up in different teams and sent out all across the nations. The Gospel will come alive as we step out in faith to preach the good news, baptize new believers and heal the sick (Mark 16:15-18). This will also be a time of exhilarating risk and adventure where our team will serve with local believers and accomplish trades related projects.
YWAM is currently working in every country in the world, and this DTS will open the door for me to potentially, at any time, work in any of those locations in the world if I choose to later down the line.
FIRE & FRAGRANCE IS ABOUT KNOWING GOD AND MAKING HIM KNOWN
In Luke 10:2, Jesus declared, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”
As you pray for me and this new missions opportunity, please consider financially giving to my ministry as a seed, believing God will bless it in return and increase the harvest in the nations. I need to raise $5,000 by September 27 which will pay for my Airfare, tuition, housing and food in Kona, Hawaii for the first three months. By December 27 I will need to have raised another $6,000 for outreach costs for our three months overseas for airfare, housing and food.
I also desire to raise up a team of people committed to praying for me. Prayer is powerful; it can move mountains and is truly something I would appreciate during this time. I would love for you to be one of my prayer warriors and know that I will be lifting you up and praying for you as well.
It's amazing watching the Lord move through His people and I wouldn't want to do this without the partnership of the body of Christ, without you! Thank you so much for your commitment and support.
