FinnyCare

Finnegan is the beloved dog of David and Jeannie Dadswell. David lost his battle with cancer last year, and Jeannie continued to care for and love "Finny". She was her constant companion.
Jeannie (nee Baird) left us suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday June 29th after suffering from a heart attack at her home. Finnegan lost both parents within a year.
Finny came into Jeannie and David's life when a mutual friend rescued her from active abuse from her owner in a park, who exclaimed "Here! You want her?" Jeannie stepped in to adopt her.
Finnegan is a happy dog whose best trick is to trot about proudly with her ear in her mouth, and will run to get her harness when told to "Go get your clothes". She was devastated to lose David but found solace and continued happiness with Jeannie. Now she has lost both.
A good friend and roomate of Jeannie's (Rebecca McDermid) has offered to continue to care for Finnegan in the home she has lived in for the last several years. She has vowed to care for her for the rest of her senior years. We are not sure how old Finnegan is, but approximately 12+ years old.
Rebecca has a heart of gold but as a student it will be financially difficult for her. Jeannie's friends and neighbours are asking that you donate for Finnegan's upkeep to support Rebecca and ensure Finnegan can stay where she is for the rest of her life. The donations wil go to provide food and vet care for Finnegan, and help with any emergencies that may arise.
Jeannie and David (above) will be missed and remembered forever by all of us. They will be happy knowing that their darling baby Finnegan is taken care of.
Please help by donating whatever you can. We (Jeannie and David's community, family and friends), thank you.
