Find a cure for lung cancer
I’m Running a Half Marathon for Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation – Please Support Me!
This year, I’ve set myself a challenge: to run a half marathon in support of Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, the UK’s leading lung cancer charity.
Lung cancer affects thousands of people and their families every year, and Roy Castle is working tirelessly to fund vital research, raise awareness, and support those living with the disease. Their work is giving people hope, time, and better outcomes—and I want to help them do even more.
I’m running this half marathon in support of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation because this cause is personal to our family. Josie’s grandma has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and watching her face this illness with such strength has been inspiring. I want to do something meaningful in her honour—to raise awareness, support vital research, and help others going through the same battle. This run is for her, and for everyone affected by lung cancer.
Running 13.1 miles won’t be easy, but it’s nothing compared to the fight so many people face every day. I’m training hard and pushing myself to the limit to make every step count.
If you can, please donate whatever you can to support this incredible cause. Every pound brings us closer to earlier diagnoses, better treatments, and more lives saved.
Thank you so much for your support
