Financial Aid for the Huggler Family

Donation protected
A wonderful, Christian family in our community was faced with an indescribable tragedy recently. Anyone local knows the story of the shooting on Kirkwood Dr. in Evansville, IN. If you are unfamiliar with the story, you may click here for the local news report.
Mr. Steve and Mrs. Ami Huggler's lives will never be the same.
On Tuesday, December 14th, a young man was hired by another young man to invade this family's home, and murder several of their children. He forced his way into the home, armed with a gun, and began shooting. One of the children, an 18-year-old young lady died, died from the injuries sustained on the following Wednesday evening (Olivia's Obituary) . Another victim, a young man, is still in critical condition and mostly unresponsive as I type this. To be straightforward, his outlook is bleak. The third child was shot in the shoulder, and has had surgery to remove the bullet, and has been released from the hospital. ***UPDATE (1/19/22) The second child that was in ICU has been released and is doing well. He does need therapy for his recovery, but the improvement he has made is nothing short of miraculous! Thank you for praying for him. Your prayers have obviously been answered in these regards.***
Police apprehended both of the men involved, and are being held without bond in the local police department.
My name is Joey Pearson, and I have the privilege of being this dear family's pastor. They attend the Maranatha Baptist Church of Newburgh, Indiana. A family friend named Jack Cooper has also aided in setting this page up.
Words cannot describe the horror and trauma that this family has dealt with, and will continue to deal with for a long time. The husband and wife are joyfully married, with several other children still living at home. They have been a blessing to everyone who has ever spent the time to get to know them, and fellowship with them. All of them must deal with this for the rest of their lives.
We are asking that you prayerfully consider being a blessing to this dear family. First, we ask that you pray for them. They will need a great deal of God's grace from this point on. We also ask that you would consider donating financially to this fund. The cost of one (and potentially two) funeral(s) is overwhelming for any family, but especially a large family with young children at home. They will need money for pretty much anything and everything you can think of. Money will not fix the issues of the occurrence, but it WILL serve as a huge blessing to a family that is in desperate need.
This GoFundMe page is linked with a newly-created bank account (set up by Bro. Jack Cooper, a dear friend of the family), in which will go straight to the Hugglers. If you are leery of donating online, you may send a check to Maranatha Baptist Church (3200 Casey Road in Newburgh, Indiana 47630), payable to "Steve or Ami Huggler" and include in the memo: "Huggler Family" and we will make sure they receive it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read and consider giving. God bless you.
