Filipino Entrepreneurs in Poverty

Hello! Brooke, Jacey, Drew and Nathan here! We are small business interns volunteering and mentoring in Cebu, Philippines. We help teach business principles to current and future business owners, many of whom are living in poverty and barely making enough for basic necessities like food, electricity, and transportation. They are hard working, driven, and ambitious individuals who have dreams of growing their own businesses, but have been held back because of financial and circumstantial struggles. While we teach them the principles needed to run a business, often that is not enough. Our goal is to gather funding that will help them improve their business processes long term, often in the form of new machinery or nicer quality materials. These small investments will increase their production and sales, reduce their manual labor time, and help them grow their business, in turn changing their lives. All sizes of donations are appreciated and will make a meaningful impact. $1 goes a long way here!
