 Family and friends, as most of you know Carolyn has been fighting her battle with liver disease for 4 years now. We are now hoping we can all pull together and raise money as she and her family starts the next path on their journey to recovery! 

A Sacramento native, Carolyn has spent the past three weeks in the hospital at UCSF as the number 1 patient on the transplant list. On Sunday, October 5th, her family was relieved and blessed to get the call.  Early that morning, Carolyn went in for a 12 hour procedure and finally receive a kidney and liver! 

 Her road to recovery will not be easy but with her family nearby she will get better! Carolyn will need to stay in San Francisco for about a month so that she can be close to her doctors as her body heals. 

Her husband has been by her side every day. As you can imagine the cost of gas, tolls, parking, hotels, and food, the expenses add up quickly. During this journey, family and friends have often asked what they can do to help. While they are a very proud family and would never ask for help, we would like to help the family cover some of these extra costs that her husband incurs daily. As we all know, nothing in San Francisco is cheap.

Anything you can spare is greatly appreciated. We all LOVE Carolyn and John and want to show them how much. Every penny helps, no donation is too small.
