My name is Christina, and I am creating this gofund me because my mother, Lori James, was diagnosed with breast cancer December 2023. She has had her double mastectomy and has started Chemo treatments. Facing this challenge has been overwhelming, and she is determined to fight for her health.

The medical bills have begun to accumulate, adding stress to an already difficult situation. Just one of her shots alone every two weeks is $2600.00 and not covered by insurance. I'm reaching out for any support you can offer to help alleviate the financial burden of treatment.

Lori has just had her 2nd round of Chemo. This is a 6 month journey followed by a 5 day a week for 6 weeks radiation treatment. She is a mother of 3, a wife, grandmother of 6, a daughter, sister / in law, and auntie, cousin of many and my best friend. Noone deserves this illness or the battle it brings mentally. physically, spiritually and financially. If anyone knows my mother, she is the most kind and genuine person you may ever meet.
