Fighting for baby McCall’s life

My brother and sister law experienced some unexpected things and news that no one knew would ever happen. Little background Skyler and Aubrey met a little over a year ago they ended up getting married in November. A couple months went by and they both announced that they were expecting a little baby in December. We were all excited for we knew this baby was going to change all our lives. Aubrey on the other hand has Crohn’s and Atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS) is a rare, life-threatening, genetic disease. aHUS can damage vital organs such as the kidneys, heart and brain, due to these problems we knew this process wasn’t going to be easy. The doctors said it was possible but Aubrey would have to take certain medications and shot every day to keep herself and her baby healthy. Weeks went on and everything seemed to be going perfect. Once week 28 hit that’s when everything went down hill. Aubrey started bleeding and having small contractions so skyler rushed her to the emergency room they immediately but her on magnesium to help with everything they fought this battle for a couple days, the doctors did some blood work and found out she had enzymes on her liver that was putting the baby’s life in danger so the medical crew decided it would be best if they took the baby out. Wednesday September 26 baby McCall was born. After she was born she headed right to the NICU where she will be staying for at least three months until she is healthy enough to stay home. But as you all know the hospital can be an expensive place and all the work skyler and Aubrey have had to take off. But we want the best for skyler and Aubrey and their new baby McCall so please anything will help pay for the medical bills. Let’s get them through this
