Fight for Rezso Orion Norton

This is Rezso! He came in like a surprising storm! He fought to get here and is fighting to stay. And stay he will if I have any fight left in me.
He surprised all of us, and he is loved by ALL of us. He is the son of an amazing brother of mine and a truly strong lady I can proudly call my sister. Strong and true. Adored, cherished and loved by his mother, a sister I didn’t know I needed. Together they created Rezso, a fighter, a Legendary Wolf.
However, he and his loved ones need a little extra love right now.
His story from my perspective.
We almost lost both my brothers Josh love of his life Ronesha and his child yesterday because of several missteps.
1.Ronnie not knowing she was pregnant. No fault of her own!
2. My sister (nurse practitioner) and me (two kids later, one where I was super swollen and drs fearing of pre eclampsia) not taking serious note of her body changes and severe swelling that has been going on for months. (She gained weight faster than normal and was swollen to the point she was waddling and in pain. This all went ‘noticed’, yet without serious concern. We all have our times where we gain weight and see nothing different.
3. The OB's that didn't think she needed to be seen because it was "early on" into her pregnancy. Yet we didn't know how far a long she actually was.
4. She was on the depo for so long and switched to an oral contraceptive so abnormal periods were normal.
Totally understandable. It takes a body a to re-regulate after that. Shit happens. When it's not a thought in your mind; it's not on your radar.
The OB in STC that saw her said it was the worst they had seen in their 20 years.
I never could understand why women who have babies and are clueless that they were pregnant. Now I totally understand. So many factors played into this where Ronnie was justified in not knowing she was pregnant. I love her even more now. She is such a blessing for not only my brother but a blessing to our family.
She loves my brother more than anything. He is so happy and he loves her more than anyone could ever describe. They have such a unique love. They get each other even when some do not. They are Ronnie and Josh. They are loved. Now they are Ronnie, Josh and Rezso Orion and I love them more than they can ever know. I am so proud of them and over the moon for them.
They didn't get the opportunity one usually gets to enjoy being pregnant, knowing that there was a beautiful little one growing inside Ronnie. The love that forms. The preparation that you get before baby comes. The love and support from family and friends. The Showers of gifts. The doting one gets for just carrying a miracle. Cripes, the celebrity treatment you get for carrying a life for 9-10 months! I relished in that when I was pregnant; loved being pregnant. Even when I was 200+ lbs. the feeling of a little moving inside me was priceless. Ronnie didn't get that. She deserves that and all of the wonderfulness above.
These two woke up on Monday. Knowing Ronnie wasn't feeling very well, near death of possibly two lives with out knowing, and with in a matter of several hours became parents of a beautiful little boy. Their lives were not set up for this yet. Their lives have now been forever changed. The best title in life is being called mom and dad. I am so proud of the both of them for stepping right in and taking on that roll of mom and dad.
