Fight for Philip

Philip Ray Lewis (30 years old) became my son-in-law on May 31, 2020.  It was the happiest I've ever seen my daughter!   After years of bad relationships, she finally found a hard working man to love her and her two boys.   He was sent to her from God, I believe that.  Philip is a Commercial Truck Driver.  He works hard to provide for my daughter and their three children (Bailey 7, Cody 6 and Levi 4).   Since their wedding, it's not been the easiest road for them.  In early July, 2020 Philip test positive for Covid-19.  He was sick and unable to work while dealing with that. Thankfully that was short lived and they got through it and he went back to work as soon as he was able.   In June, my daughter had found out she was pregnant - they were ecstatic!  Sadly though, in mid July just after Philip was getting over Covid, she miscarried  - twins!  Now, they face an even bigger battle.  Recently Philip had a sore throat that he just couldn't shake. Then a knot popped up on his neck.  He went to the ER where they did a scan and recommended further testing. Yesterday he had a bone marrow biopsy and today got the results:  Acute Myeloid Leukemia.   

Tomorrow, August 28th, 2020  Philip begins chemo for 4-6 weeks.  If Philip doesn't work, he doesn't get paid.  They just moved into a larger house and just bought a new larger vehicle. Not to mention the every day costs of raising 3 kids. not ever anticipating something like this would happen to them.   I am asking please to help and give whatever you can.  If we all chip in I know they can get through this.  We are praying for Philip's complete recovery because we know that God has more in store for his life and for their family.  From the bottom of my heart, I thank you in advance for helping them!  God Bless You All!!
