Friday the 28th has been the longest and scariest day of my entire life to date and it is one that is certainly not over for any of us yet..
Darcy Ewing of Lavington NSW 2641, my partner, has been involved in a very serious accident, which has resulted in him being airlifted to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a very critical condition.
Darc has a fractured skull with the first scan showing damage to the front, back and sides of his brain and is being kept heavily sedated, on life support and breathing through a machine and currently in a very sensitive state with swelling and severe pressure to his brain that the amazing doctors, surgeons and nurses here at the Royal are trying to maintain and reduce.
I cannot thank them enough for their around the clock care and support they have given Darcy and in turn all of us.
The full extent of Darc's injuries at this stage are unknown but what we do know is that there is a very long road ahead of us... but Darcy and I are a team, and he has the most incredible, caring and supportive family here by his side.
We ask for you to send all your love and support to Darcy in this critical time and thank everyone for the support you have offered us.
This is all so very new and unknown to us but what is known is that we are facing a very big and hard road ahead.
Darcy is the owner of Kurrupt Kustoms in Albury NSW and the business is his pride and joy and the costs of keeping the business afloat in this difficult time will be huge.. not to mention the enormous medical costs and travel and accomodation we will are faced with in both the short and long term...
What we are really asking for is your love and support... but absolutely any donations towards keeping Darcy's business alive and first and foremost DARCY alive would be appreciated.. the amount of support we have already received is enormous.. I have no words.. I am just so grateful..
Anyone who knows Darcy knows his family, friends and his car family mean the absolute world to him. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...
