Fight Canada Proud Lawsuit And Disinformation

Today, we were sued by a Canada Proud. An organization that willingly spreads political and cultural disinformation across Canada on behalf of its clients.

Jeff Ballingall and Canada Proud are personally suing Dean and Crier Media for "Monetary Losses" and "Damages" for embarrassing them and hurting their reputation.

We need your help. We'd love to go the distance and plan on countersuing. Canada Proud is an arm of Mobilize Media. Jeff Balingall runs it, and the lawyer of record suing Dean and Crier Media is also on the Canada Proud and Ontario Proud Board of Directors.

The same people who libeled Dean and called him Racist are suing Dean for suggesting they spread misinformation, which has been well documented.

The page has failed multiple fact-checks. Last year, it falsely claimed Remembrance Day ceremonies were "banned" and misleadingly suggested "Winston Churchill" had been "removed from Google."

Ballingall is a former Conservative staffer, Sun News Network employee, and Bay Street lobbyist who served as digital director for Erin O'Toole's successful campaign for leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Ballingall is also a director and part-owner of The Post Millennial. This right-wing news site has previously published articles written by fake journalists using false identities with computer-generated images.
