On February 15, 2022 this little angel was diagnosed with (leukemia)B cell ALL. After months of injuries and illnesses his blood work showed critically low blood counts, he was taken to Oshei Childrens hospital where he was diagnosed. It’s going to be a very long journey for him and his parents, my sister and her husband. At minimum another week in the hospital followed by 7 months of intense chemo, and a total of about 2.5 years of preventative chemo and this is the minimum not counting countless dr appointments and hospital visits. Being that he is going to be immunocompromised he will be contained to his home and the hospital for the next 7 months, meaning not only the stress of a severely sick 2 year old, but the normal everyday parenting of a 7 year old and an infant. There will be lost wages and increased expenses to contend with even though our family is strong, they will need support. Heather and Derrick (parents) have the biggest hearts are always there to help anyone who may need it. They would never ask for a hand out. However we will for them. This is not going to be an easy journey, let’s take away the financial burden of it all, they have enough to deal with. Thank you in advance! Keep praying! #DominicStrong
