Jeff Chandler has been a member of the Duxbury Fire Department for 31 years serving as a Firefighter/ EMT,  department mechanic and as a member of the Plymouth County Technical Resource Team. He has been a life-long resident of Duxbury and dedicated his life to helping others in need. He has been active in the agricultural, equestrian and farming communities on the South Shore. Jeff is a dedicated husband, a father and a grandfather. He is a man who has selflessly served this great community and is now in for the fight of his life and needs our help. On August 20th, 2018 he was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder and lymph node cancer. Jeff will be unable to work during his life-threatening battle with this horrible disease. He is to begin aggressive chemotherapy this month.  We are requesting donations in any amount to assist with his added medical expenses and care that will help supplement his health insurance coverage and expensive copays. His wife Priscilla and family have been Jeff’s backbone as well as his extended family of firefighters and friends.
