Fernside Supporting Children and Families

As part of our nursing leadership program at Beckfield College we are tasked with organizing a fundraiser to benefit our community. Our group chose to work with Fernside. We have all been touched by grief and members of our group have even attended Fernside in the past.
Fernside, established in 1986, as the nation's second oldest children's grief center, remains today a national leader in providing grief support services and outreach and education to the community and families. An affiliate of Hospice of Cincinnati, Fernside services compliment Hospice of Cincinnati's comprehensive bereavement program by addressing the unique needs of children.
Fernside provides all services free of charge with the help of generous donors who support our mission.
Fernside is available to children and families across greater Cincinnati. They offer grief counseling and support groups as well as weekend and week long camp for kids.
Funds will be donated directly to Fernside and will be used at their discretion. Our campaign will run until November 30th 2020.
