Feeding The People

Después de que el huracán María azotara a Puerto Rico en 2017, más de 400 escuelas tuvieron que ser abandonadas. En 2020, la organización sin fines de lucro, ID Shaliah, adquirió una de estas escuelas y está abriendo un centro comunitario resistente que atenderá las necesidades de los miembros de la comunidad antes, durante y después de los desastres naturales.

Este proyecto comenzó después de que el fundador de ID Shaliah, Javier Valedon, y su primo, ambos tuvieran el mismo sueño durante una noche de descanso. En este sueño, Dios le dijo a Javier que le iba a dar comida a la gente de Cubuy-Lomas, Puerto Rico. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a Javier a convertir sus sueños en realidad al proporcionar los fondos necesarios para ayudar a operar el centro comunitario.

After Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico in 2017 more than 400 schools had to be abandoned. In 2020, the non-profit organization, ID Shaliah, acquired one of these schools and is opening a resilient community center that will serve the needs of community members before, during, and after natural disasters.

This project started after the founder of ID Shaliah, Javier Valedon, and his cousin both had the same dream during a night of rest. In this dream, God told Javier that he was going to give food to the people in Cubuy-Lomas, Puerto Rico. Our goal is to help Javier turn his dreams into reality by providing the necessary funding needed to help operate the community center.
