Minneapolis is under occupation.
A group of community-led chefs and community members have come together to provide grassroots mutual aid for people on the front lines.
Day and night, in arctic conditions, people are participating in ICE watch, delivering meals and essentials, and organizing to create sustained change to support our immigrant neighbors and family members. Those holding the line need hot, nourishing meals to keep going. This is an act of resistance and, fundamentally, love.
We are asking for support to make that happen.
Funds raised will be used to purchase food directly from local small immigrant businesses most impacted, prepare warm meals, and deliver them in hot boxes to action sites and watch sites.
Your support feeds those on the front lines defending Minnesota communities and creating safer environments for people targeted by ICE.
Any amount helps and any residual money will be donated to the Woman’s Foundation of Minnesota’s Immigrant Rapid Response Fund.

- I have increased the goal because I came up with an additional way to help, but instead of feeding in terms of nourishment of the body, I want to help nourish minds and souls through purchasing books. I have connected with Palabras, a bilingual bookstore in Phoenix and they have provided me with a list of books they recommend for those sheltering. Check them out if you have an opportunity. They’re awesome and part of a collective with a beautiful vision.
