Feed Our Nation's Long Haul Truckers - #COVID19

04/24 Update: With your generosity, in just 6 days (2 hours daily) we have fed over 665 Long Haul Truckers and 225 of them took a Bible with them in their rigs!  We are adding a second truck stop in Casa Grande, AZ (about 60 miles up the road) and working on getting a Church up there to assist with volunteers!  PLEASE share this page on your social media!  The gratitude expressed by these long haul truckers is unbelievable.  And what a blessing it is for us volunteers!  Thank you, MQ   

We are a group of church friends working to express our community’s appreciation to the many truckers passing through Tucson, AZ who have continued to tirelessly keep freight moving across the country during these critical times of the COVID-19 global emergency. 

We all feel so grateful for the vital service truckers perform. They brave our highways and face additional risk that we are spared from, away from their families for weeks at a time, to ensure food, medical and other vital supplies are delivered.  Our Pastor will also include a supportive note in each sack.

We are planning to hand out approximately 100 free sack lunches every weekday to commercial truckers, while funds allow, at the Triple T and Pilot Truck Stops on Interstate 10 (exit 268) from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.  

These sandwiches, along with chips and a soft drink are greatly appreciated by the Truckers. Our cost is discounted to $5.00 per lunch so we can reach more of them with this free lunch.  We have raised initial funds to get this started but will only be able to continue through the generosity of YOU and everyone else!
