Feed Kenyan Children During COVID-19
Donation protected
Hi I'm Mariana,
This past year I went on a mission trip to Kenya, Africa, where I volunteered (as a teacher), at Blessed Hope Child Centre.
Blessed Hope Child Centre was founded in 2012 to provide a Kenyan-style education. The school is located in the Kibera Slum, which is the second-largest slum in the world.
Today, the school not only provides education to over 150+ students, whose ages range from 3 to 13 years old, but also provides the much needed food and water that children don't receive at home. COVID-19 has brought to light what many families in Kibera struggle with every day - access to food and clean water.
As schools are temporarily closed, and children are unable to attend class, they are left at home to go hungry. My goal is to raise funds to provide food and water to the children of Blessed Hope School while they are stuck at home with limited access to necessities. To ensure that the children receive the funds, I have partnered with Elsa Atieno (School Director), who will adequately disperse the funds to the children that are in most need.
Walk along with me during this journey!
Please help the Kenyan children by supporting in the following ways:
• Donate to the GoFundMe page
• Follow @mueveloandsweatitoff on Instagram, where you can buy tickets for an Online Zumba class - 100% of funds will be donated
• Buy a mask from www.estefaniacwtdesign.com whose organization will donate 15% of the sale towards this cause
• Share the GoFundMe page with friends/family
This cause means the world to me, and means a lot more for all the families in need. There's no small contribution. Every dollar goes further than you think!
Thank you for your contribution. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me directly:
