Feed Brighton's most vulnerable this Eid!

Donation protected
Hi, My name is *insert generic British Asian name*... And this is going to e my 3rd Eid without seeing my Family, such is Corporate life. But it got me thinking about how many people simply don't have the choice, some people literally have nothing. Especially in Brighton, and I suppose aren't we all 1 bad/unlucky decision or maybe 2 from losing a lot we take for granted? So how can we make a difference?

I remembered something from childhood that perhaps most British Asians can relate to, remember when your family would make you give food to the neighbour, no matter who they were, race, gender, sexuality... Acringey experience at the time, but maybe that's where it starts!

So here's the idea, on Eid, predicted to be the 22d of April, as I can't spend the day with Family, I want to share that amazing feeling of love, family and humility that many of us experiences during Eid, Easter, Vasakhi and some simply experience daily. The hope is to gain donations from local restaurants and cook the food ourselves whilst working with homeless charities dropping off the food on Eid!

All money raised will be circulated between several homeless charities, including Clocktower Sanctuary, Off the Fence and more!
