Father Christmas travels Long Melford & St Nicholas Hospice

Hi everyone,

We’re a group of friends who bring Father Christmas to travel around Long Melford every year before Christmas, to wave to the families and give sweets to children, while carrying buckets for any donations from the public, which we give 100% of to our chosen charity. This is our 7th year and for 2024 we’ve chosen to donate any monies raised to St. Nicholas Hospice in Bury St. Edmunds. This charity is very close to the hearts of many people in our community, including ourselves. We feel there’s no better time to give something back to the people who give so much to our loved ones.
