FATHER AND 2 BABIES

Let me just tell you all my story related to the post for helping the gentleman and his 2 children and show you the power of God and how when he sends his angels oh do they show up and show out!! Glory!!!!! Last Saturday this gentleman who is my neighbor, along with another man unknown to us both at the time saved Caidens life. Yes my baby. The oldest son and Caiden always ride their bikes  together and sometimes go on rides along the path by their school with the dad. So he planned to go visit his father and take the boys with their bikes to ride at his dads. They went on a bike ride while visiting the dad on the bike path along the Lockport Canal. The boys led the way with he and his 2yr old following right behind. He told the boys to slow down and not get too far ahead, so Caiden looked back which caused him to veer off into the grass, and he went straight into the canal on his bike. Mind you the canal is as least 10 if not more feet deep  My neighbor instantly jumped in to rescue him. Mind you is all rock wall along the canal so there isn't anything to really get a grip on to climb out of the water. The current is extremely strong and 3 people have already died in the canal this year alone. There was a man that happened to be there fishing with his two teen daughters that saw the whole thing happen so they immediately ran to help. One daughter called 911 while the other held the fathers legs so he could lean down and get  Caiden from my neighbor and then drag him out. The pictures I post at the end will give you a better view. Had he not been there God only knows but he had everyone in the right place at the right time and his angels surrounding them since they arrived there. I was at work when I got the call from the chief of police there and he assured me my baby was fine crying a bit but ok. The Lord sent such a calmness over me and helped me not to go into a frenzy and panic while driving there. Bria  on the other hand was a wreck because everyone knows that's her baby. Thank God for the swimming lessons this summer, he kept himself close to the wall and above water. Went to childrens, got checked out and no fluid in lungs he's good. Neighbor has bruised ribs and a few minor scrapes and chest hurting but doing ok. So the next day the police call back to tell me the man that rescued them both wanted to meet Caiden to present him with a new bike that he went out and purchased because his old one is at the bottom of the canal. My neighbor drove with us there to meet Mr. Bill and it was a blessing to meet and show this man our appreciation for saving the both of them. While there a couple was magnet fishing and chatted with us because they heard about the rescue on the fire scanner so we exchanged numbers just incase they happen to come across his bike. Well the next day I got a text from the woman with a picture of his bike asking if that was it and I said yes.  She said her husband made it his business to go and find his bike right after work and he did. Overwhelmed is not even the word to say. My mind has been in a million places and I thank God for the miracle he performed in my family. I won't go into the details of my neighbor's struggle but just know that he really needs help and he is trying. Just know rent, food, clothing are what I'm trying to get stable for him the most. I am obligated to help him in anyway I can because God places people in your lives for reasons and blessing him is what I want to do because he blessed me by risking his life to save my sons. He and Mr. Bill deserve the recognition of being hometown heroes and God gets the glory, honor and praise!!
