Family out of vehicle after being hit by 18 wheeler
Donativo protegido
On July 1st, 2025, as we were heading to Great Falls, Montana for our daughter's medical appointment, our tire blew. We were parked on the shoulder as far over as we could with our hazards on and immediately called our roadside assistance. As we waited, we were carelessly hit by an 18-wheeler going the same direction. We are extremely lucky to all be alive and for that, I’m most grateful, but it has left us in a very tight spot. We did have full coverage and the semi that hit us was a business; however, we have yet to come to a settlement and are not sure when the lawyer and other parties are going to figure it out and come to an agreement. Even when that happens, we will be back at square one without a deposit for a new vehicle.
We have 4 children that not only go to school but also now have 6 physical therapy appointments a week, mental health appointments, as well as school starting soon, and work for us, as well as the slew of appointments for injuries, scans, and tests. The rental car we currently have is supposed to be gone tomorrow, leaving us with nothing. We hate asking for help and often are helping others before ourselves, but now we feel we have no choice but to ask for help. Anything at all helps. Shares, donations, even a dollar. All money will go to a new vehicle down payment. We greatly thank you for reading and helping all you can.
