Family of SSGT Lawrence Ricchetti

I cannot begin to accurately describe the pain and suffering my family has endured over the past two weeks. I thank you in advance for reading and considering this:
This fund is for the immediate family of my uncle and former US Marine SSGT Lawrence Ricchetti who passed away unexpectedly and far too young at the age of 50. All who knew him witnessed his unwavering kindness and non-stop humor that would lighten up even the darkest room. My uncle was someone who would never turn his back on a friend or family, and would literally give the shirt off his back if it meant comforting someone else.
Lawrence passed away on 10/25, but after a lack of action, compassion and sympathy by the VA, was not laid to rest until 11/2. His family, my Aunt Maryann his wife and high school sweetheart from Long Beach HS on Long Island, NY, and their three kids Nicholas (21), Brianna (15) and Anthony (23, currently on active duty for the US Air Force), waited 8 days due to the incompetence of the VA before they could lay my Uncle to rest. It wasn't before a local news station got involved that the VA finally produced Lawrence's death certificate which allowed the funeral to be held.
After a lifetime of helping others, it is now that my Uncle Larry needs our help. For the past few years before his passing, Larry was dealing with ailments suffered most likely during his 16-year service in the Marines. He awaited the results of a disability hearing, after more than 3 years of suffering and multiple operations. As anyone who knew my Uncle would know, he NEVER complained nor would dare ask anyone for help. But, his family is in dire financial straits as they mourn their husband and father. They're a family with a daughter in high school, one son stationed overseas in the Air Force and another already working full time to try to help cover the bills. The family owns just one vehicle, to further complicate their situation. Bills continue to mount, and they are uncertain of what they will do next.
Any and all help goes directly to my Aunt Maryann Ricchetti. Every little bit counts, and all forms of support are greatly appreciated.
