Desiree, her partner Jasper, their two young boys Jett and Sonny, and Jasper’s mother Sandy are facing an unimaginable challenge. Last night, an electrical fire tore through their rented home, leaving it uninhabitable. With no renter’s insurance and nowhere else to turn, they are now staying in a hotel, trying to figure out their next steps while reaching out to local charities and disaster relief agencies.

This is a young family who simply doesn’t have the means to rent a new apartment or replace everything they lost. Their two cats and dog, who are precious to the kids, were also displaced. The family is doing everything they can to keep their pets with them, so the children don’t have to suffer any more loss during this difficult time.
