Fall River PD K9 Fund

The Village of Fall River Police Department has received permission to begin fundraising to implement a Police K9 program in our community. Our fundraising goal is $50,000 to cover the cost of the dog, handler training, squad car, vet bills, and other safety equipment needed. We are now looking for community members and businesses in the area that are interested in supporting the program. As we see an increase in meth and heroin use, our goal is to make the area a safer place to live and raise families. Having a Police K9 as an additional resource funded fully off of donations in our community would be very beneficial to help decrease the use, sale, and transportation of drugs in our community that are directly impacting peoples lives all around us. The K9 would also assist with locate missing and endangered people in a timely manner. With your support we can help make our community a safer place to live, work, and raise families.
