On July 20th, was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, breast cancer.
Faith is young at 39 and is the mama bear of 6 year old Tallulah. These two magical ladies live a simple life and don't need much. However, Faith is a single mom and will be needing to focus much of her time and energy on doctors appointments, eventually surgery, potentially chemo, and healing. This will take a lot out of her and she will need support in many different ways.
Tallulah starts first grade on August 28th. It is still up in the air as to what part of the process Faith will be in at the time but there is a great possibility that she will be in the midst of this journey towards healing. We are hoping to raise a little money to help support Faith and Tallulah at this time so that they can focus on being together, getting T ready for school, and getting Faith healthy and back at it again.
Donations will go towards basic needs like school supplies for Tallulah, groceries, medications Faith might need, and appointments. Much of this support will also go towards getting Faith and Tallulah into a house of their own. They are currently staying with a friend and have been house sitting through the summer. This basic necessity is extremely important for Faith's healing and Tallulah's need for safety, stability, and some normalcy on this journey. Housing in Ashland is extremely expensive and we are working on getting them set up with affordable housing but it will still take a lot of financial support. Your amazing contributions will greatly help with this.
