Let's help these sweet Ladies

**UPDATE** Laura was hired this year to teach at a private Christian school, and she continues to work at Baylor ER on the weekends.  She is in the midst of a terrible custody dispute and has legal fees and counseling fees that she cannot cover.  She is still not receiving child support and she needs our help.  There is a $1880 balance at Family Tree Counseling Center in Plano that must be paid in order for the girls' therapist to testify on their behalf, and another $2000 that must be paid to her lawyer, Rachel Rider, by the end of the month.  Any contribution will be a huge help and blessing!

Laura has taught Special Education for the last five years in North Texas, and was just laid off (November 2014) due to budget cuts and low enrollment at her school.  She is a single mother of three girls- ages 13, 16, and 21 (currently a senior in college).  She does not receive child support and has been working two jobs, seven days/ week to make ends meet.  Monday- Friday teaching, and on Saturdays and Sundays working 10-hour shifts at Baylor Hospital.  Fortunately, she still has her part-time weekend employment, but that will not be enough to cover their needs/ expenses.  Her 16 year old daughter needs maxillofacial surgery.  Laura has lost her and her daughters' medical benefits now that she has been laid off, and only has coverage through the end of November.  After that, she will need to come up with enough money to switch coverage during the open enrollment period running through January.  

I don't know how Laura will be able to cover her monthly rent and expenses now that she has been laid off.  Let’s shower her sweet family with blessings this Christmas!  Please contact me if you can contribute any of the following:
