Faith and Medicine: Medical Mission Trip to the DR

Hi everyone!

Currently, I am in UAB’s Physician Associate (PA) Program in Birmingham, Alabama! We have an amazing opportunity to participate in a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic in May of this year. I am so grateful to have this opportunity to give to the community through both faith and medical care. During this trip, we will enhance our skills, our knowledge for medicine and patient care, and strengthen our faith by helping others. Our goal is to make a difference in this community in more ways than one. I will be participating in this mission trip alongside other members of UAB’s healthcare programs including PT, OT, and other PA students.

I am fundraising for assistance for airfare, meals while in the Dominican Republic, lodging, ground transportation, literature, leadership training, and medical supplies. If you are able to, I would appreciate any donation in order to help cover these expenses. Any donation is greatly appreciated!
