On May 10th, Leah and Tyler were blessed with a beautiful baby boy, Ezra Thomas.
Shortly after birth, the joy turned into concern when Ezra needed to be transferred to Albany Medical Center to address and care for some concerns they had with his brain.
Ezra was treated at Albany Medical center and released five days later.
Leah and Tyler were able to then return home with their new son and start living as a family of three!
Thankfully, Ezra is doing very well! And the family was just starting to get back to normal. When the hospital bills started arriving.
The family is overwhelmed with the mounting medical expenses. They still have other future appointments in Albany as the hospital wants to monitor Ezra for a time to be sure he is progressing as he should. they are currently living on one income. Leah (who works in an elementary school) is not sure when she will be able to return to work with the current virus as well as being unsure of childcare for Ezra.
Tyler, Leah and Ezra appreciate all the love and support they have received from family and friends. Many have asked if they needed anything, so I wanted to make this need known and give them the opportunity to help if they want.
