EYAI's fundraiser for EYAI Cafe

EYAI wanted to use this building for a community centre, not convert it into more houses.

Unfortunately, we were not able to raise the funds, or partner with someone who had the financial means to make this a reality and sadly it's now been bought for houses.

We have therefore been working on a smaller project which is a Cafe at Stone Village Hall on Friday afternoons.

The object of this, alongside offering an afternoon cafe to the community, will be to support our clients who are not confident enough to work in the community. our Mentors and cafe volunteers will be working with them to support them build their confidence up so they can move into employment in the community.

The cafe will also offer table activities which have been donated by The Entertainer.

This will open on the 15th September. The opening day will also have a raffle, donations for this have been given by various Shops, Cafe's, Pubs and hair and beauty services.

Donations for the start up refreshments have also been donated by grocery shops.

We have the costs to cover the first three months and would appreciate support for the next nine months. ongoing the weekly running costs will be covered through the cafe income.

We are looking for a further £3000.
