#ExpatsMmawlinLthawra
Donation protected
Because we are ALL physically here and mentally there, we decided to make a small difference from where we are.
We are Lebanese expats finding these troubling/exciting/stressful times out of hand, so our only contribution can be to help our friends that are in the streets.
Some amazing individuals based in Beirut are taking initiatives to help the protest GO ON and not fade away.
A young man named Malek Halaby opened his house in Horch Tabet to volunteers. They are all university students cooking and distributing food. They have donated 300 sandwiches in one day whilst heavily relying on individual donations.
As expats, we thought it would be a good idea to send them money to help their heartwarming operation go on as long as possible.
We are aiming to send them 1000€.
If it is possible for each of us to donate, even with a few dollars/euros/pounds we can make a great difference!
