looking to get back on my feet

I just got out of an abusive relationship a month ago where he had constantly trashed the house and called us names or got angry and put his hands on me or the kids. He eventually told me to quit my job so he could provide. In which, He did not provide for the children and I and caused us to be 3 months behind on rent. Shortly after being evicted.
